I've been working steadily now for about 7 years, to me that seems like a long time, and some might say it is. I love what I'm doing currently, but unfortunately, what I do means long and weird hours, I don't mind so much, but it definetely wears me out.
A friend of mine theorizes with nobel prize winners and ecconomists, that only 25% of the population is required to support the human race, while in my mind I believe this is possible, but it has two major problems in my mind:
I enjoy my work, I'd be bored out of my brains without the daily challanges that come with the field.
- With no competition, wouldn't this stagnate progress in many areas that help make our lives more comfortable?
- It seems to me that, without a reason to get up every morning, people seem to loose the will to live, and they die alot younger than perhaps they would if they were still working.
Anyway, I'm going to have another rest, I'm still to tired to do anything productive. cya!
